REX ALLEN DAYS PARADE RULES:
1. Any individual who operates a truck, car, tractor, or any other type of vehicle in the parade must possess a valid driver's license and valid insurance on all vehicles that are involved in the parade.
2. All participants are expected to abide by general behavior guidelines.
3. Rex Allen Days Parade Committee do not endorse the views, representations, and behaviors of parade participants.
4. All entries with live animals are responsible for immediately curbing/cleaning up after their animals.
5. Animals must be of nature that noise and excitement will not frighten them.
6. Passing out items for the crowd is allowed in a responsible manner.
7. ALCOHOL IS NOT ALLOWED
8. As participants you all have a responsibility to the parade viewer's safety as well as your own.
9. Entries with children under the age of 18 must have adult supervision.
10. Protocols for lineup of dignitaries and officials are followed.
11. Any misconduct during line up shall result in your entry not participating in the parade. There WILL BE NO FIGHTING amongst entries over any subject matter. You will treat volunteers with respect and conduct yourselves in an orderly fashion. Any concerns that you have will be directed toward the Rex Allen Days Committee and not amongst yourselves.
12. In the event you may have a concern you may contact the Rex Allen Day Committee person in charge. They will hear your concerns and find an amicable solution. If there is any argument with the Parade Chair, Co-Chair and /or any Parade Official's decision you will NOT participate in the parade.
13. Assignments and Measurements are made based upon information given on the forms that you have filled out. That is another reason why's it’s important to be as accurate and informative as possible.
Sections entries are marked with numbers on the street. You must check in prior to the parade to get your number.
15. Roads are marked with your assigned number in your assigned section.
Changes to the parade line up the day of the parade will be at the sole discretion of the parade officials and parade chair.
17. If you do not stop for the Judges to judge your performance, you will not be eligible. You will also not be eligible for prizes if you do not put down a category to be judged in.
Keep in Mind your parade number needs to be placed on the left side and visible for the judges.
By signing below, I understand that all participants in the parade are personally responsible for individuals, groups, and safety. I hold harmless Rex Allen Days Inc., and the City of Willcox, for any injuries resulting from our group/business and its individuals participating in this community celebration. l acknowledge guidelines may be established for the well-being of the event and agree to adhere to the established guidelines.
